ReJAC presents Festive You
ReJAC is excited to be hosting Festive You, which will take place May 27th - 29th. The festival is an opportunity to allow community members, artists, performers, vendors and culture bearers from New Orleans to showcase their creative talent and products under the umbrella of ReJAC's fundamental principles.
Submissions
We invite artists and vendors to fill out the submission form below and share with us their previous works, photos, and merchandise that has a reproductive justice theme. Our team will be sending out notifications to artists and vendors accepted into Festive You beginning April 15th. ReJAC will be offering each artist a stipend for their work with the amount of the stipend varying based upon what work is submitted. Vendors will not be required to pay an entry fee if accepted.
It is imperative that you have a direct connection to some facet of ReJAC’s core beliefs as an artist or vendor

Documentation
One of the most important aspects is documentation. We are uplifting artists, vendors and culture bearers who typically don’t have the ability to film or showcase their craft at the level of quality that is expected in the film and commercial world. The festival is partnering with Fish Pot Studio’s, AOC and Treme Market Branch in an effort to allow every participant to tell their personal stories, explain their art practice and/or products.
Each Artist and Vendor will have a recorded interview
Each Artist will have a one on one session with A/V to talk about the best ways to demonstrate your art
There will be no vendor fee
Every product will be documented (during event)
The goal is to give each contributor this footage to allow them the opportunity to use it to advance their craft. Additionally, this will allow us to highlight the community work that is so important.
